Payment & Refunds

Instruction

  • All quotes are conveyed in INR and exclude GST unless mentioned otherwise.
  • Milestone payments must be made within five working days of each milestone. All pending charges and dues must be cleared before the project is launched/released/ goes live.
  • Payment made construes the automatic acceptance of quote, terms and conditions, budget, and schedule.
  • Below is the breakup of refund allowed on cancellation.
  1. 75% refund in case work hasn’t started.
  2. 50% refund if work has started.
  3. 0% refund in case more than 50% of the work is done

    All cancellation requests need to be put in writing and not verbally.

     

  • Payment for minor updates needs to be made in advance or in line with payment terms. You need to inform in writing (or via email) if you need the words updated.
  • Due date :  when the invoices are due to be paid as per the payment terms/proposal.
  • Outstanding invoice :  an invoice to be paid becomes outstanding when it hasn’t been repaid for more than 14 days after the due date.
  • If you see a delay in the invoice to be paid, it is advised to contact the account manager ASAP.
  • Any payment made for registration or renewal of domain name, hosting to third party, or using third party software or tools must be paid as per their quote and is non-refundable.

Free Support and Business Recognition:

Web Universals provides complimentary support for one year post-launch to all customers who permit the inclusion of our business name, “designed & hosted by Web Universals,” on their websites. This acknowledgment helps us showcase our work and ensures continued support for the client.

Omission of Business Recognition:

In cases where clients choose not to include our business name on their websites, free support post-launch will not be applicable. We value transparency and request clients to communicate their preference regarding including our business name during the initial stages of the project.

Changes and Customizations:

Any additional changes or customizations requested post-launch will be subject to an hourly or upfront quote. This includes modifications to the existing design or functionalities. Clients will be informed and provided with a quote on an as-is basis before proceeding with any requested changes.

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) Option:

Alternatively, clients can enter an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) with Web Universals. The terms of the AMC, including the cost and scope of support, will be determined based on the anticipated number of changes required throughout the 12 months. This provides flexibility and a proactive approach to ongoing website maintenance and improvements.
These terms and conditions ensure clarity, mutual understanding, and seamless collaboration between Web Universals and our valued clients throughout the website design and development process.

1-Year Free Support - Inclusions:

At Web Universals, we believe in providing comprehensive support to ensure the continued success of your website. Our 1-year free support package is designed to offer assistance and maintenance, focusing on content and image updates. Here’s what’s included:

Content Updates:

Our free support covers changes to existing textual content on your website. Whether it’s updating product descriptions, service details, or any other text-based information, we’ve got you covered.

Image Replacements:

Need to refresh your website’s visuals? We’ll assist with the replacement of existing images, ensuring that your website stays visually appealing and up-to-date.

Navigation and Menu Adjustments:

If you require modifications to the website’s navigation structure or menu items, our support team will make the necessary adjustments to enhance user experience.

Bug Fixes and Technical Support:

Our 1-year free support includes resolving any technical issues or bugs that may arise post-launch. Our team is committed to ensuring your visitors a smooth and error-free browsing experience.

Security Updates:

We’ll keep your website’s security features up to date, implementing necessary patches and updates to safeguard against potential vulnerabilities.

Exclusions:

While our 1-year free support is extensive, it’s important to note the following exclusions:

New Page Additions:

The free support package does not cover creating new website pages. If you wish to expand your website with additional pages, this can be accommodated through a separate agreement.

New Forms or Fields:

Adding entirely new forms or fields to your existing forms is not covered by the free support. However, our website packages typically include 1 to 2 contact forms with up to 5 fields each (excluding file or video uploading options).
